Our Poodles Are:
SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT!
Thanks Shelly.
It has been very hard to find good breeders in poodles, borzoi or any breed for the novice.  Its just hard to tell because they all talk the talk and have the websites and unless you get to know some of the people involved in the breed a person is pretty well left to the mercies of fate.  So when breeders like you come along its such a relief.  I have had the honour of knowing you for several years and knowing people who have  your dogs so I know the quality that you are producing and the honesty and high ethics that are a part of your breeding program and personal life.  After fiinding out what the practices are of many breeders I have encountered...I feel I have to say something when fine breeders like you come along.  Its worth the search to find you guys in amongst the others.

Ellie's doing so great!  She's about 25 or so pounds now (she doesn't quite fit
on the scale so I had to guess...ha ha) and she's just getting so big!  Her
spay went great, and her stitches have since been out and she's 100%...and
she's just so damn smart!  She continues to impress me...I am so glad that I
have her, you have no idea...she's really such an angel!! ;)  You would be so
proud..she listens pretty well (not when there are other dogs to play with),
and she very well behaved...She just got groomed on Thursday so she's looking
all dapper...ha ha...I will send you some pictures when I get home to my
computer...(We're at work right now)...

Shelly, we all got home okay and Miss Sasha is starting to settle in to our routine. She is so bright! I have nothing but praise about this poodle. You must have the perfect combination with this litter, she is all that I was looking for and more. I have never had such a well-behaved puppy. She is so loving and calmly affectionate. Pictures alone cannot convey the sweetness of her expression and intelligence in her eyes. Charlie will send some pictures to share soon. You were right about her personality, she is not afraid to let you know what she wants. I was in love before we ever crossed the state line. So glad that we have come to know one another. Thanks again. Charlie and April

HI all!!!

I have an introduction announcement of the newest
Heartsong member. Heartsong's Southern Sizzlin' Angel, She is my daughter Kait's pride and joy

The brag....
2 weeks ago yesterday, Miss Sizzle arrived.Yesterday, Kait took her in a local fun match.. In all the classes she could enter.  They took a 3rd in 4-H jr showmanship (HUGE class, and Sizzle was the ONLY puppy!!!) a second in AKC jr showmanship intermediate level.
A puppy Group 2nd, and an ANY age/etc (they called it
anything goes) group 3rd for non-sporting.  I am beaming.

We are looking forward to our first UKC show this
coming weekend.  Kait will be jr handling.

Oh my God Shelly is he precious!  I fell in love the instant I saw him.  He is now in Delaware with us and acting almost like he's been here all of his life... he jumped up on the bed with Ron and is lying there with his toys.  He loves boiled chicken. (GRIN)  We are totally besotted with this precious munchkin.. My heart is singing again.....Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting him come here.  So far, excellent and I have no doubt he will continue to just make himself at home here.  I think he likes being with all of these dogs... he seemed to warm up as soon as he walked in our door.. Was walking on his leash, coming when we called him.....  It is amazing....

So, I don't want to stay too long away from him.. will update you again tomorrow.

Take care,
Hugs,
Kathy

Hi Shelly,
Sorry I haven't sent the pictures yet,our house has been a real zoo lately.First,my daughter and her significant other came home unexpectedly and guess what they gave me for my birthday,a female silver poodle. So now I have 2 puppies. It's turning out to be a good thing for Doc,now he has a playmate. He is the sweetest dog,so loving and gentle, when the female gets crazy and is play biting,Doc is giving kisses and licks!!I think I may be partial to Doc,and my vet is so impressed with him.I love to watch him cock his head when I talk to him, like he understands every word I'm saying. We're going to puppy kindergarden and of course,I think Doc is the smartest puppy in the class,on the planet,actually:-))He weights 11.9 pounds now and prances across the back yard like he is king of the hill!!I've given him a couple of trims and cut his toenails, and he is sooo much easier to handle than the female. He is such a joy and I love him so much.

Talk to you soon,
Linda East

He's such a smart dog, Shelly!  He may be the smartest poodle I've met.  We
gave him a kong.  We heard that when you fill it with treats or peanut
butter, it takes the dog hours to figure out how to get them out and it's
good for the dog's brain.  It takes Rosco about five minutes to empty that
thing.  He's house trained.  When he had diarrhea one time and couldn't make it
outside, he would run to the bathroom and jump into the tub!  He knows how
to sit, lie down, come, fetch and sometimes shake.  And he's such a lover.
He follows us around the house and naps at our feet!  We adore him.   I'm so
glad we got one of your poodles.
