I ask that you carefully read this page with the hope that it clarifies
my reasons for asking the questions that follow. I strive to match
puppy personalities to the lifestyles in the forever homes, and the
questions serve to facilitate my goal of placing each puppy in the best
home possible.
In addition to asking these pre-placement questions, I request that
each owner maintain contact with me following the placement. Each
litter represents a labor of both love and learning for me, and ongoing
communication helps me evaluate the results of each breeding. In
return, I enthusiastically make myself available to my owners and share
my experience with and knowledge of the needs of the poodle. This
includes training, grooming, nutrition, and health. The feedback I
receive from owners regarding this agreement suggests that it is
mutually beneficial.

Have you considered the substantial commitment that comes with owning a
poodle in terms of things like exercise, complete and balanced diet,
grooming, socialization, training, and at least annual veterinary
exams? I would be happy to answer any questions or refer you to
others who provide loving homes to our dogs.
We ask that prospective owners thoughtfully commit to owning a puppy.
Therefore, our payment policy is as follows:
1. A nonrefundable deposit is required to hold a puppy for
you.
2. In the event a reserved pup should become ill while still in our
care, your deposit will be refunded or placed on the next available
puppy, whichever you choose.
3. Puppies are generally ready for their new homes at eight weeks of
age, and we ask that payment be made in full by the time the puppy is
six weeks old.
