About Us? Well simply put we have been blessed in this life. We were fortunate to have found one another as kids and married at the ripe old age of 19, that was over 25 yrs. ago. My name is Shelly and along with my husband and love of my life Vernon and our three sons Garrett, Christopher and Joshua as well as all the K9 companions we've been allowed to enjoy are the family that makes up Angels Standard Poodles. We've enjoyed animals all of our lives but it really came to a peak when we opened a small grooming shop in North Central Texas back in 1997 called Angels With Dirty Faces. It was then that we started recieving calls and getting dogs left at our doorstep that we realized the need for rescue, rehabilitation and finally adoption to new suitable and forever homes. While working with the Grayson County Animal Shelter we offered our services of free grooming during their Adopt-a-thon and it was there that we met and fell hopelessly in love with our first Standard Poodle, Romeo. This boy spoke to our hearts so much that we can just never imagine life without a Poodle in it. The rest is history, as they say. August of 2008 brought a big change for us as we moved to the Ozarks. Here we live in the country down a quiet private drive on a small acreage in serenity with nature and our best four legged friends by our sides.
